It sounds like a cool project you’re working on, Nathaniel S. Soria.

I’m not sure if the move to e-readers has encouraged non-readers to start picking up a book. According to this 2016 study by Pew Research Center, the percentage of Americans who’ve read a book has remained pretty steady since 2011, with the majority of people still preferring print. This is based on a telephone survey of 1,520 adults.

I think it’s mostly the formatting that has changed. While reading has becoming more convenient, so have other forms of entertainment (movies, shows, etc.).
