Hmm, I thought 1984 was the more well-known of the two, Damien Dsoul. I typed both separately into Google and “1984 book” (I typed in book to be more specific) comes up with 176 million hits, while “animal farm book” has 11 million hits. Of course, it’s possible more results have come up recently, but both books are immensely well-known. Thanks!
